Florida Stand Strong Vigil at Sims Park this Thursday, June 16th

The City of New Port Richey will host a Florida Stands Strong vigil this Thursday evening, June 16th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in Sims Park to remember those who lost their lives in the tragic event that took place in Orlando over the past weekend. Please join us as we gather together in solidarity to show the world that although senseless gun violence tragedies and hate crimes are frequent occurrences in the world we live in today, we will not sit idly by and we will not live in fear. The public is encouraged to bring a flower to place in a wreath in remembrance of the victims. Please bring a blanket to sit on or folding chair and join us for this very special program.
