There is new Bar and Grill in town if you live in Pasco County. Let me introduce you to LEVI'S Bar and Grill of New Port Richey. Just a few hundred feet from 54 and US 19 is the location of the newest and largest LGBTQ+ Bar and Grill of its kind. The official Grand Opening is in June and the date is to be announced as we move closer. However, the bar is open, and we went inside to take a peek.

I was in a meeting with my friend Nina Borders talking about this year's PASCO PRIDE Events, that lead to our impromptu meet up at LEVI'S. I am glad she made the recommendation. I had an opportunity to meet with the owners, Steve and Carl, in addition to the Bar Manager and Show Director the beautiful and talented, Monica Malone. The bar has been completely remodeled by the owners with help from some of the staff. The owners hope that Levi's will be more of a "…family feel kind of place. We want the staff and patrons to feel like family."

The owners are very community driven and stated the doors are open to EVERYONE no matter who you are. They will be having Drag Queen BINGO Nights for local charities, Talent night, and some other great ideas (I could share but I was sworn to secrecy). The Soft Open was this past weekend and featured some of Tampa Bay's Best Entertainers on Friday and Saturday like Monica Malone, Dena Cass, Bobbi Lake and Janet Vandross. Here are a few pictures from the night we visited.

They have a full food menu featuring: Appetizers, Sandwiches (hot and cold), Chicken Wings, Chicken Strips and more. I would say that about half of the patrons that night had ordered food, and the portions were decent sized. Everyone that ordered seemed to enjoy what they had. I did not hear or see anyone complain about anything regarding food or drinks.

Speaking of drinks, I ordered a considerably basic Tito's and tonic with a lime and my partner ordered a beer. The prices are fair; my drink was on point. They offer Daily Drink Specials and did I mention… SANGRIA on TAP! Said to be the "Best in the Area"; I have not tried it yet but next time we visit, it will be my first drink.

Levi's also features a juke box, oversized bar games, pool table, darts, digital bowling, and bar top arcade games. The Stage is set and ready to entertain. Levi's stage has been completely built from scratch to give the best view from any angle and taking into consideration the needs of the talent as well.
