The show stars three of Florida's favorite queens: Kathryn Nevets, Chi Chi LaLique, and Daphne Ferraro, who step into the roles of Winifred, Sarah, and Mary Sanderson. Fans will relive favorite moments from both Hocus Pocus and Hocus Pocus 2, but with a drag twist that only this trio can pull off. Add in appearances from Billy Butcherson, The Mayor, Master (the Devil), Thackeray Binks, and even "the Book," and you've got a full cast ready to put a spell on you. The best part? Every performer in this magical production hails from right here in the Tampa Bay area.

I've known Daphne for many years and seeing her take on Mary Sanderson is a treat every single time. She, Kathryn, and Chi Chi aren't just castmates - they're longtime friends, and you can feel that energy in every show. Before the sisters take flight again this season, I had the chance to chat with Daphne about the show, her role, and what audiences can expect.

Q&A with Daphne Ferraro

1. You've played Mary Sanderson for a while now - how do you put your own Daphne spin on her while still keeping the character true to the movies?

I find little nuances from the movies and use my twisted sense of humor to put a spin on how she'd act and what she may do in different situations. We all focus on the smaller details that people sometimes forget.

2. You've been doing this show with Kathryn and Chi Chi for years, and you're all such good friends off stage. How does that friendship come through in the performances?

Yes, going on 12 years doing this show together, and over 26 years as friends. It's kinda wild. We truly are sisters in many ways. When our energy is combined, it's truly magical. We know what the other is feeling and can almost feel each other's energy. We also know how to quickly pivot and compensate if one of us flubs. (LOL)

3. What's the one number in the show that you just can't wait to perform every night? Be honest - how crazy do rehearsals get when you three are together?

Rehearsals are always crazy and filled with mysterious wicked smoke. (LOL) I love to do "I Put a Spell on You" because it's what the crowd is waiting for. I also love performing some of our top 40 hits because people aren't expecting them - but they love it.

4. For people seeing A Little Hocus Pocus - A Drag Tribute Show live for the first time, what do you hope they walk away feeling after the show?

The show is about sisterhood and truly provides laughs for kids of all ages. I want people to escape while they're watching our show and feel lighter and happier when they leave.
