This is a cross between La Cage and The Godfather. Stephen and Danny are a cool Manhattan gay couple who have it all, until a surprise visit from Stephen’s parents threatens to blow the boys’ big secret. The secret is not that they are gay, but that they are hitmen for the mafia!! Since Stephen’s Dad is an FBI agent, the guys are desperate to keep this secret. They enlist their fellow mobsters to pose as gay waiters at the faux catering company Stephen “owns” so they can host a party for Dad – with hilarious complications. Many expected roles are reversed and surprises constantly evolve.

They have been involved with the festival for over 20 years as volunteers, donors, housing hosts and data entry. They met at the festival in 2002 and have been active ever since. The festival is a foundation of their lives and feel that it is a cornerstone of the LGBT community locally.

We chose this film from the hundreds we have seen at TIGLFF because it was unusual, funny and very well done. You should do what makes you happy in life and many people in this film chose unusual pursuits.
