Family Collective Event
The
Found Family Collective is a grassroots multi-cultural,
multi-identity group of transgender, gay, lesbian and queer
people who are looking to find family to help us survive the
ongoing anti-gay, anti-trans and anti-queer culture society
is trending toward. We are hosting our second event on New Year
Eve.
It's an all ages, sober, and FREE event at 609 W Waters
Ave! Its in the event hall of a queer affirming church and
is not a religious event. It's open to transgender, lesbian,
gay, bi, and queer community members and families of all ages.
Although its an open mic night, performing is optional.
You can just enjoy each other's company! If you want to perform,
it's open to everyone: no professional talent needed. You can
do poetry, song, dance, comedy,
monologues or whatever your heart desires.
We'll have some board and card games, snacks and
some non alcoholic beverages. Ring in the NY with found
family! Perfect for Qmmunity members under 21, those who are
sober or trying to remain sober and those who just want to start
the NY in a calmer queer space. Please RSVP for planning
purposes.

We'll have IAM, a special guest featured poet, performing
a thirty minute set this evening, so definitely come and enjoy
the show!
