The Broken Penis Story

Over a decade ago comedian Joey Rinaldi broke his penis as a teenager and lives to tell the tale in his solo show “The Broken Penis Story,” making its Florida debut in the Tampa Fringe Festival.

This uniquely intimate storytelling show uses comedy to retell the traumatic events that made the awkward phase of Joey’s life even more awkward. The embarrassingly cringey injury Joey endured is a catalyst for his hilarious observations on the impossible struggles of surviving puberty, the difficulty of growing up, and that for some, it’s worse than others.

BIO - Joey Rinaldi is a New York City based stand up comedian known for his long form personal storytelling. He has recently been featured on NPR, The Drew Barrymore Show, The Daily Mail and even Judge Jerry Springer. Joey has performed in comedy and theater festivals all over America and the world such as The New York Comedy Festival, The Burbank Comedy Festival and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Joey’s storytelling solo shows have earned him several awards such as “Best Comedian” at the 2021 Canadian International Comedy Film Festival. When Joey is not touring with his solo show or opening for the Tik Tok famous best friend Troy Bond you can catch him Joey hosting his popular Brooklyn based storytelling show Bad Trip.
