Multi-award-winning solo performer Erika MacDonald comes to
Tampa to perform her entertaining and innovative storytelling
show about falling-down barns and mental health as part of the
2023 Tampa Fringe Festival. The Barn Identity will have
three performances in Tampa's new Fringe Theatre, located in
Ybor City.
ABOUT THE PERFORMER
Erika is an internationally-touring theater-maker based in Covington,
Kentucky, whose original works have been featured Off-Broadway
and have won "Best of Fest" honors on over 10 different occasions
at Fringe Theater Festivals across the U.S. and Canada. Erika
is known for her award-winning original solo shows The Barn
Identity, Evacuated!, Tap Me on the Shoulder,
and Fluid.
THIS YEAR
This has been a big year for Erika:
- The Barn Identity won the HEARTSTRINGS AWARD at the Orlando
Fringe Winter Mini-Fest
- Erika directed the world premiere of All-One! The Dr. Bronner's
Play at Know Theatre of Cincinnati
- The Barn Identity SOLD OUT multiple performances at the Cincinnati
Fringe Festival and other venues across America
- Erika's variety show Away, Now received a five-star
review from the Winnipeg Free Press
